SpryPoint has appointed Tara Davidson as Chief People Officer, adding a senior HR leader to its executive team. The appointment was announced on September 21, 2026, as the cloud-native software company continues expanding across North America. Davidson joined SpryPoint effective August 31 and reports directly to Chief Executive Officer Kyle Strang. Her mandate covers talent acquisition, organizational development, culture, and total rewards.

People Strategy Supports SpryPoint’s Rapid Growth

Davidson brings extensive experience building people functions for growing organizations. Before joining SpryPoint, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hallmark Health Care Solutions. She also held senior people leadership roles at Castellan Solutions, eVestment, and Scientific Games. Her career has included organizational transformation, employee engagement, talent development, compensation, benefits, and business integration.

Building Capability Across a Growing Organization

SpryPoint has expanded from roughly 75 employees to more than 375 employees. The company provides cloud-native software supporting utility billing, customer engagement, and field operations. Its solutions are used by more than 100 utilities across the Americas. This growth has increased the need for structured people processes supporting hiring, development, culture, and organizational scalability.

Davidson’s responsibilities will extend across several core areas of the employee lifecycle. Talent acquisition will support workforce expansion, while organizational development will focus on building capabilities as the business becomes larger. Her mandate also includes culture and total rewards. Together, these responsibilities give the People function a broad role within SpryPoint’s business development.

Connecting Culture With Business Growth

Davidson has emphasized the connection between people strategy and business strategy. Her approach focuses on building people infrastructure while maintaining the organizational characteristics that support company growth. This includes how employees are hired, developed, supported, and connected with organizational objectives.

Her appointment comes as SpryPoint continues expanding its technology platform and customer base. The company serves utilities across multiple markets and is developing solutions for increasingly data-driven utility operations. Davidson’s experience with geographically distributed organizations provides additional perspective for managing workforce growth across different business environments.

The appointment also reflects the expanding role of senior HR executives within technology businesses. People leaders are increasingly responsible for connecting talent acquisition, organizational development, culture, and employee support with wider growth plans. At SpryPoint, Davidson will oversee these areas while working with the executive team as the company scales.

Her arrival strengthens SpryPoint’s leadership structure at an important stage of organizational expansion. The company’s continued growth will require additional talent, stronger organizational systems, and consistent employee experiences. Davidson’s role places those priorities within a dedicated executive mandate as SpryPoint develops its next phase of growth.
